Introduction
The 600
delegates present from 138 churches at the 5th Assembly came
to Lomé at a challenging time for the AACC. The Assembly had
to be postponed one year because of finances and both
President Walther Khotso Makhulu and General Secretary Rev.
Maxime Rafransoa left office mid-term. The Assembly, with the
strongest representation of women and youth to date, met to
address these concerns and to change the tide of the AACC.
