Introduction
The contemporary political scene did much to shape the
6th General Assembly. The Gulf War moved the gathering from
Cairo to Harare, and countries such as Kenya, Zambia and
Burkina Faso came to the Assembly representing newly
competitive political states. After the reform implemented by
Lomé’s delegates, Harare offered a chance to learn about the
AACC’s progress under new leadership.
