Introduction
The delegates met 6 years later after a period of
transition at the AACC; the Assembly was ready to discuss
restructuring at the Yaoundé gathering. General Secretary Rev.
Canon Clement H. Janda left office before the Assembly and was
succeeded by an interim General Secretary from the WCC, Melaku
Kifle. The 8th Assembly was a chance to restate the mission
and vision of the AACC so it could truly rebuild the continent
in unity.
