Conclusion
After the critical assessment of AACC operations at
Yaoundé, a Transitional Task Force was put in place. The Task
Force was designed to implement the necessary structural
changes proposed by the Assembly’s delegates. Fruitful
discussion and relevant recommendations 34 from delegates made
Yaoundé a pivotal AACC General Assembly. Fully engaging the
21st century, the 8th Assembly’s speakers and sub-themes
tackled the issues central to rebuilding Africa. The last 5
years have shown the results of these
efforts.
