Press accreditation and
Eligibility
Media participation at AACC
9th General Assembly is subject to accreditation by
the All Africa
Conference of Churches. Accreditation will only be awarded
to professional communicators - print , radio, and TV
journalists, photographers, film makers, and news agencies.
In
order to be accredited to cover the Assembly2008, please
submit:
- A
valid press card/employment ID
- An
assignment letter from your editor or producer confirming
you assignment to cover the Assembly and giving details
about your media house
- Your contact information (tel. email,
postal).
Accredited journalists will be required
to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
Please check with your travel agent for visa and inoculation
requirements.
Visas might be required for certain
countries. Please check with your consulates for further
information.
Submit completed
accreditation requests to catherine@aacc-ceta.org or ninthassembly@aacc-ceta.org
Press
Centre
Programme documents, press releases,
speeches, background information, daily highlights etc. in
English, French, and Portuguese will be posted to the AACC
Website on
www.aacc-ceta.org.
You
may also subscribe to our free daily news service (Maputo
Daily) by Communication Team. The same will be available
electronically via our web
site.

News
Room
AACC
staff and volunteers will be available on-site at the Assembly
News Room from 5 December to 13th Dec. 2008.
Interviews
The
Communication Team should be contacted where interviews are
needed with any participant or delegate for the Assembly but
bear in mind our limited
capacity.
You
can also make your own interview arrangements whenever
possible. Please respect peoples rights to communicate and
vice versa.
Programme
Accredited journalists will have access
to Assembly events i.e. the workshops and other events and
activities. Access to certain forums may be limited.
The
Assembly Programme will be shared with all journalists or
accessed via our website. Please note that freelance
journalists and photographers are subject to the same
requirements and
conditions.
